Britain’s Got Talent judge and Heart Radio presenter Amanda Holden wore an eye-catching denim jacket at Crufts this week created by a Stockton designer. [Thursday 5th March]

The jacket, which features a bespoke embroidered picture of her two beloved dogs, Rudie and Minnie, and a sprinkling of blue hearts, was commissioned by Barking Heads dog and cat food specialist for Amanda who is a brand ambassador.

The custom-made design was created by Beth Wilson Embroidery studio based in Digital House in Stockton using a photo of Amanda’s dogs. Owner and lead designer Beth, who specialises in creative digital embroidery design for fashion and textiles, designed and embroidered the jacket with studio assistant Ellie Bedford, especially for the celebrity to wear at Crufts. They also made a customised jacket for Adem Fehmi, a dog behaviourist, trainer and fellow Barking Heads ambassador.

Holden, who has 2.8 million followers on Instagram, shared a picture of the jacket saying: “How gorgeous is this? Thank you so much @bethwilsonembroidery @barkingandmeowingheads.”

Beth said: “It’s so surreal to see something we worked on showcased on such a huge platform, and even more special seeing how grateful they were to receive their jackets. It really captures the essence of what we do, creating unique pieces that are deeply personal to the people who wear them. It’s amazing to see our hard work appreciated, especially by celebrities.”

The Britain’s Got Talent star is not the only high-profile client to have showcased one of Beth’s creations. Her client base also includes Charlotte Tilbury, Victoria’s Secret and Mary O’Sullivan who showcased at Irish Fashion Week 25.

A spokesperson for Barking Heads said: “It was a pleasure to work with Beth on this exciting project, creating bespoke jackets for our brand ambassadors Amanda Holden and Adem Fehmi for Crufts 2026. Barking Heads is an official sponsor of the iconic dog show this year, and we wanted our ambassadors to stand out.

“Both Amanda and Adem love their jackets, especially Amanda as it has a beautiful embroidery of her two beloved dogs Minnie and Rudy. Beth worked really quickly to make our ideas a reality – and the jackets came out amazing.”

L-R Helga, Beth and Ellie

Beth and Ellie are regularly joined by Beth’s dog Helga, who has her very own cosy corner in the studio to review every pet portrait commission! They have been joined this week by Northumbria University student Jan Tomas who has started a nine-month work placement at the studio, having been inspired by Beth’s success when she held a special open studio event in December.

Beth, who is one of the Tees Valley Combined Authority’s Tees Valley Artists of the Year, ended 2025 on a high having won Small Business of the Year at the Tees Businesswomen Awards and a National Embroidery Award for her exquisite Love and Romance dress. She has built up a strong following in the alternative wedding industry by creating embroidered bespoke denim and leather jackets for brides to wear on their wedding day as well as striking suits for both men and women to stand out from the crowd, and embroidered pet portraits.

Tees Valley Artists of the Year is delivered by the Tees Valley Mayor and Combined Authority and funded with the support of the UK Government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
